The Gift of Seeds & Potluck Supper!

Friday, April 18 | 6 pm Potluck

~ 7 to 8:30 pm Seed Gifting with Petra from Fruition Seeds

After our potluck, bring home seeds to sow resilience in your community as we cultivate gift culture together! After 12 years of growing regionally adapted seeds for sale, Fruition now grows hundreds of vegetable, flower, and herb seeds to share as gifts. Like these seeds, we trust generosity amplifies abundance in the world. In this spirit, we invite you to practice giving and receiving seeds differently than you’ve ever experienced. As we (un)learn mindsets of scarcity and receive the extraordinary abundance of seeds, we invite you to join our beautiful, reflective, joyful, and transformative 90-minute experience where we will laugh, play, practice the hard work of receiving beyond transaction, and perhaps even shed a tear or two.

And Friends: If you love Robin Wall Kimmerer’s words and wonder how to more deeply practice gift economy, you’re not alone & do join us 🙂

Bring:

~ yourself! And a friend who also loves seeds 🙂

~ a potluck offering as brings ease and joy, trusting that there is always plenty of food, so if you just bring you, please do <3

~ a small notebook and pen to write in

~ a small bag for your seeds to come home in

~ hunger for a world we dream of that we can plant the seeds of

~ any seeds you’d love to contribute to the abundance shared! (Come at 20 minutes early so we can weave them into the offerings with ease)

FAQ:

~ Can I drop in for just part of the gathering? We strongly encourage you to join for the full experience: Think of this as a movie or the theater where you want to come a few minutes early to settle in, not miss anything, and let the progression take you on a journey til the end.

~ Is it free? We ask for no dollars and all are welcome. (We invite you to consider this free in the spirit of Fannie Lou Hamer: “None of us are free until all of us are free.”)

~ Is this family friendly? This particular gathering is designed for adults, though young people who have a wide capacity to listen and go with more ‘adult’ flows are most gratefully welcome. Many babes in arms have joined these gatherings, so please consider this an open invitation, as well 🙂
