One of the best ways to get to know people and feel a part of the community is to volunteer for one of the many tasks that keep UUCC humming. Except for a few paid positions, our church is mainly run by volunteers. We consider volunteering part of our shared ministry, which is how we care for one another and support the life of the community.

We encourage you to consider any of these roles. There are one-time or short term activities as well as longer term, more involved activities, from bringing refreshments to giving a sermon. We will make sure you are paired with or have help from someone who knows the ropes so you don’t have to worry about getting it right.

Here are some ways to help:

Hospitality – Be a greeter, bring refreshments, clean up after Coffee Hour
Religious Education – Be an assistant teacher, assist with child care (nursery)
Communication – Help with Facebook, Newsletter, Website, Press Releases
Building & Grounds – help keep the building running, help with gardening
Worship – Be a Worship Assistant or Lay Leader
Board Member – Serve on our Board of Directors
